More About Me.
I was born in Lincoln, attended secondary school in Spalding and then moved to Bristol to take up a five year apprenticeship with Guided Weapons, part of the then British Aircraft Corporation. I attended Bath University and was awarded a degree in Engineering. I initially qualified as a Reliability Engineer but then moved to Training and then Recruitment. I held a number of HR posts with leading manufacturers before retraining as a teacher in 2000. This was a long term ambition.
I have taught in the state and private sector, day and boarding and did not retire until I was 64. I spent my final year as a school minibus driver which I found most enjoyable and rewarding. My family undertook a self build project in 2015 and I live with my wife, two daughters, son-in-law and grandchildren in Shepton Mallet. EDUCATION
